I'm Tracie Hlavka, a dedicated coach who specializes in guiding leaders in fast-paced startup environments through the highs and lows of rapid growth. My ideal clients are startup leaders—whether managing small teams or entire organizations—who are navigating complex changes and are ready to build resilient, high-performing teams. My coaching philosophy is rooted in adaptability, people-centered leadership, and fostering a growth mindset. I've completed leadership development programs and have years of hands-on experience scaling teams and creating organizational cultures that thrive through change.

Throughout my career, I’ve held key leadership roles in the tech industry, such as CTO at Flyhomes and VP of Engineering at Porch. At Flyhomes, I led a fully remote, globally distributed team and doubled the engineering function’s size to meet business demands. At Porch, I scaled a high-performing team from 15 to over 80 engineers and played a pivotal role in integrating numerous acquisitions. Additionally, I developed and launched a leadership training program at Flyhomes that trained over 90 managers across the business. At Blue Nile, I progressed from an intern to Director of Software Engineering, contributing to their exponential growth and helping launch international operations. These experiences have equipped me with deep insights into product development, team, system, and process scaling, and change management.

Outside of work, I’m a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and a passionate advocate for diversity in tech. When I’m not coaching or working, you’ll find me spending time with family and friends, traveling, trying new recipes, or cheering on the Seahawks.
