Laura Demuth, MSN, APRN, NP-BC is a clinician, healthtech executive, and a passionate coach of fellow clinicians and others hoping to advance and make career pivots into new spaces. As a trained nurse practitioner with a background in hematology/oncology, internal medicine, and dermatology, Laura became disenchanted with modern healthcare and traded in her white coat and stethoscope for the digital health world in 2015. She learned quickly that clinicians and others who are transitioning to non-traditional roles should have all the support and resources they need to excel, for many inherently have the learning and growth mindset.

She has experience working as a member of Series A through SeriesD+ high-growth startups, executive leadership teams, board of directors presenting and engagement, clinical and business operations, transformational leadership, and successfully navigating the identity crisis that sometimes comes with major career pivots. Above all else, Laura is passionate about people leadership, and has scaled and lead highly-engaged clinical and cross-functional teams of 150+.

In addition to working full time and coaching, Laura is a mom of 2 toddler boys and lives with her husband in San Diego, CA. She is a fierce advocate for mental health issues, as well as women and parents in the workplace. As a creative outlet, Laura manages a blog called The Kinda Mom and co-hosts the Mighty as a Mother podcast.
