I have over 25 years of experience leading global organizations through transition and transformation as a U.S. diplomat. I've operated as the international equivalent of a CEO, COO, and CFO within the U.S. Foreign Service, designing policy, developing strategy, and directing a global leadership program.
Across postings on four continents, I led multi-agency operations ranging from 50 to 1,200 staff. As the effective COO at the U.S. Embassy in Canada, I directed 38 government agencies across 8 locations, increased visa output by 30%, and generated over $40M in revenue. As the CEO-equivalent in Sydney, Australia, I promoted trade with U.S. tech companies and restructured the operations of 7 U.S. government agencies to turn around a failed construction project. During my time as the COO-equivalent in Lesotho, I directed the implementation of over $500M in foreign assistance programs targeting health infrastructure, the energy sector, and HIV prevention.
As a coach, I work with executives and leaders navigating transitions, whether stepping into new roles, taking on expanded responsibilities, or seeking transformation. My style is supportive yet challenging, working with clients to find success through the power of vision, purpose, and authenticity.
Clients leave our work together with greater clarity and confidence, and the ability to move forward in alignment with their core values.
I live in Ottawa, Ontario, and can frequently be found ice skating, running the soccer field, curled up with a good book, or hiking with my family. I am active, curious, and supportive, and I'll bring all these qualities to my coaching!
