I've spent my career working in high-growth technology startups, starting out as a software engineer filling various technical, product and sales-oriented roles before finding my way into general management of all aspects of execution and delivery.

I spent the past decade building Betterment, a fintech company that raised over $100M in VC funding, and oversaw over $20+ billion in assests under management. I joined as the 20th employee, and exprienced the growth to over 350 employees. I started as the VP of Engineering before transition to CTO, and eventually took on roles in HR, Legal and Compliance, before transitioning full-time to COO. In fast growing environments, I have seen every stage and role of growth and hypergrowth, and how to navigate the ever-evolving challenges from defining your own role to carving out new ones for yourself, working with and across executive leadership teams, and taking on a variety of new management and leadership responsibilities. I specialize in coaching entrepeneurs and exectuives on similar journeys, and helping them thrive as leaders, navigate the everyday challenges, and find enjoyment and fullfullment amidst the ever-evolving nature of company building.
