For over two decades, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals and organizations tackle tough challenges across healthcare, technology, manufacturing, consulting, and human resources. As the Chief Operating Officer at Stanford Blood Center, I currently oversee 250+ staff in donor-facing and laboratory settings, where we've achieved 50% revenue growth over five years.
Previously at DaVita, I turned an unprofitable division into our top-performing region in under two years while implementing leadership initiatives that resulted in over 20 promotions to management. My entrepreneurial journey includes founding WorldHaus - a venture-backed construction firm designing and building affordable housing in India. I raised from investors, including Bill Gross and Ross Perot Jr., and built a team of 25 from the ground up.
My diverse background also includes experience in early-stage venture capital, where I led due diligence on clean-tech and mobile internet companies.
Throughout my career, I've been passionate about developing front-line workers into managers - and managers into senior and C-suite level executives. At Stanford, I created a leadership development program that has led to numerous successful promotions.
As a Certified Executive Coach with the Center for Executive Coaching and an ACC-level International Coaching Federation credentialed coach, I bring 10+ years of coaching experience guiding leaders in healthcare organizations, technology firms, and manufacturing startups. My approach combines strategic vision with operational excellence, helping clients achieve both career and personal goals.
My clients have defined my coaching style as calm, structured, strategic and analytical. I focus on bringing a presence that inspires trust and safety and asking questions that help my clients make and interpret their insights. My clients depend on me to help them set concrete goals, measure and track progress against these goals, and to support them in holding themselves accountability for success.
I believe my unique combination of operational leadership, entrepreneurial experience, and coaching expertise enables me to help clients navigate complex challenges and unlock their full potential.
For 10 years I lived & worked internationally and am fluent in Mandarin. I hold an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where I was a William T. Morris Foundation Fellow.
Outside of my work, I am a busy and proud Girl Dad – chauffeur, nurse, cleaner, and soccer coach all in one. Whenever I can get time off, I love to get into the mountains and climb, camp, hike and relax. Being in nature helps me feel small, insignificant, and grateful to be here. I’m working on slowly getting my kids into it as well!
