Hello there, I’m Anna. I'm a Director of Data Science and Machine Learning. I have over 15 years of experience in data science working on various research projects, demos, proof of concepts, and products. I entered the data science industry after receiving my bachelor and masters degrees from MIT, where I focused on Human Factors Engineering. My most memorable and impactful career decision occurred around six years ago when I decided to create my own role, Head of AI for Social Good. I knew that my data science skills could help others in the world and was able to convince my manger, their manager, and that manager's manager that this role was something our group needed. In this job I found my passion, and the role opened a whole host of delightful opportunities. I’m here to help other data scientists and technical professionals determine their passions, and envision ways to incorporate these passions into daily life or career. I live in the Madison, WI area with my husband, three cats, horse, and many plants (most of which are even still alive!).
