I've spent two decades building and leading organizations through periods of extraordinary growth and change, across the corporate, political, and nonprofit worlds. I hold a B.A. and J.D. from Stanford University, a Professional Certified Coach credential from the International Coaching Federation, and a certification from the Hudson Institute. That breadth, across tech, healthcare, private, and nonprofit sectors, gives me a rare vantage point on what it actually takes to lead and communicate well, no matter the kind of organization.
My career spans some of the most consequential rooms in business and government: Johnson & Johnson, Facebook, the Clinton White House, and Capitol Hill. I've also served as an Operating Advisor to Bessemer Venture Partners, built the first legal policy and communications program at the Center for American Progress, and taught public policy at Stanford as an adjunct professor. As Director of Employee Communications at Facebook, I led the company's communications function through its growth from 5,000 to 30,000 employees worldwide, keeping leaders and teams aligned through a period of rapid, global scale. As VP of Communications at Johnson & Johnson, I led the teams responsible for communicating to its 130,000 employees globally, transforming how the company engaged its workforce and reshaping its narrative around culture and people practices alongside its brand relaunch.
As a coach, I work with leaders and executives navigating growth, change, and the harder parts of leading people - building the cultures, communication habits, and management skills that let teams actually thrive. My approach draws on what I've seen from inside fast-scaling companies, political campaigns, and global enterprises: leadership succeeds or fails on how clearly and honestly people communicate.
Clients leave our work together with sharper communication instincts, more confidence leading through ambiguity, and a clearer sense of the leader and manager they want to be.
I've been passionate about leadership and how organizations work since I ran for student council in third grade, and that curiosity has never really left me. Outside of work, I'm a longtime vinyasa yoga student and teacher (E-RYT-200, RYT-500). I live in New York City.
