Keren's core expertise is understanding people – what motivates them, what inspires them to act, and what makes them tick.
She spent 13 years at IDEO, an award-winning global design consultancy, where she led interdisciplinary teams creating solutions grounded in consumer insights across many industries. Through that experience, she learned that taking a design-led approach (including uncovering needs, building for them, and learning from what you’ve built to inform the next iteration) applies just as readily to products and services as it does to people development. In her last chapter at IDEO, she co-led the San Francisco Studio location where she focused on talent operations and cultivating the cultural conditions for designers to do their best work.
As a coach, Keren is passionate about helping creative leaders tap into their intuition, imagine what's possible, and make a plan to achieve it. She likes to get to the "real conversation" as fast as possible, and believes that in order to change something, you need to first understand it.
She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from New York University.
Keren lives in Mill Valley, CA with her two kids, husband and golden doodle, Bo. She loves to travel, people watch in airports, and take photographs with a (snobby) Leica camera.
